Every year, millions of students apply for fresh and renewal application on the CG Scholarship Portal and receive funding for their future studies.
The Chhattisgarh government has decided to launch the CG Portal mainly to reduce the burden of education expenses for the state’s SC, ST, and OBC students. CG Scholarship Portal Registration (Fresh Student)
The first step for students to enroll in the Chhattisgarh Post Matric Scholarship is to create an account on the CG scholarship Portal. If you are going to apply to this scholarship for the first time, you will need to register as a fresh student to create an account, to do this follow these steps to do so.
- Go to CG Post Matric Scholarship Portal, www.cg.scholarship.nic.in.
- Select the Register Yourself option under the Student Corner menu.
- Enter your name, father’s name, and mother’s name in the basic details.
- In the profile related details, add your date of birth, marital status, caste category.
- Enter current address, your mobile number, email id, and Aadhaar card number in personal details and then verify Aadhaar.
- Then fill in your current address, such as home address, pin code, post office, name of the village/city, district, etc.
- After that, set a new password and click on the Save and Register button.
CG Portal Login and Complete Application Process
To apply for the Chhattisgarh Post Matric Scholarship, the student will have to log in to the छत्तीसगढ़ छात्रवृत्ति पोर्टल. At the time of registration, each student has been given a unique user ID. - Click on Home from the registration page, otherwise visit, छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य छात्रवृत्ति पोर्टल.
- Select login, and here enter your login ID and password.
- Enter the captcha displayed on the screen and click on Login Now.
- Click on View Profile when the dashboard opens (correct any information that is incorrect)
- Now select Add / Update Profile, enter your name, guardian’s name, and address in Hindi.
- Upload the student’s photo.
- Now fill in the details of the 10th class examination such as roll number, year of passing, name of the board, and the total percentage.
- Click on Academic Details Now select the name of the institution, institute ID, date of admission, course name, year of course, hostel/day scholar.
- Then fill in the details of the previous course and upload the mark sheet of the last exam, click on Save.
- Now fill in the bank details such as account number, IFSC code, branch name and upload the first page of the passbook, then save it.
- Now upload your caste certificate, residence, and income certificate.
- Now review your application, and lock the application if all the details are correct.
Final Submission and Lock Application
Make sure to re-check all the information provided by you before locking the application, as it is not possible for you to modify or edit the application once the application is locked after submission. After submitting the application, take a printout of it.
CG Scholarship application renewal 2023-24
Many of you may have applied online in CG Scholarship in Portal, now you want to renew your application form. If you have previously applied for a Post Dimensional Scholarship, you must have a User ID and Password. Follow the steps below to renew your application.
- Visit the www.postmatric-scholarship.cg.nic.in Portal.
- Now click on Login.
- Type your user ID and password and captcha, then click on the Login button.
- Then select e-KYC, enter your name, and date of birth as per your Aadhaar card, then verify your Aadhaar.
- Go to the basic details, enter your father, mother’s name, Parent’s occupation, and BPL / APL number.
- Then enter the details of the current institute such as institute number/ID, date of admission, and enrollment number.
- Fill out the details of the previously completed course like Course Type, Year of Passing, Roll number and aggregate Percentile, now upload the mark sheet, and click on Save.
- Enter the details of the Domicile and family income certificate, such as application/certificate reference number then save it.
- Finally review the application, and lock the application.

If you are already or have previously applied for the Chhattisgarh Post Matric Scholarship, now you would like to know if your application has been accepted or not. Chhattisgarh Post Matric Scholarship Eligibility
- The annual family income of OBC students should be less than Rs.1 lakh.
- Students from the SC and ST communities should have an annual family income of less than 2.5 lakhs.
- It’s a post matric scholarship for Chhattisgarh students so. student must be a permanent resident of the state of Chhattisgarh and must have a Residential Certificate.
- The matriculation and subsequent degree you have completed or currently pursuing must be under a government-recognized institution.

Visit the postmatric-scholarship.cg.nic.in portal, under the Student Corner menu, you will find the login option, click there and enter your User ID and password.
All the documents of the students are verified at the institute/suction level, the next process after all the documents are successfully verified is known as the proposal stage.
