Hand In Hand India’s Siksha Mitra Scholarship 2024

Under Hand-in-Hand India’s CSR initiative, a scholarship has been introduced for students in classes 8 to 12, Diploma, ITI, Graduation and Post Graduation, known as “Hand In Hand India’s Siksha Mitra Scholarship.” The online application for the scholarship has started from 7th March 2024. To apply for the scholarship, eligible candidates have to go to the Vidyasarthi Portal and fill the application form before the deadline.

A worldwide non-governmental organization (NGO) called Hand in Hand India has its head office in India and works to create employment, fight climate change, educate children, empower women, and support social entrepreneurship. For students, the NGO has launched the Siksha Mitra Scholarship Scheme as part of its mission to support women’s empowerment through education. Hand in Hand India also actively supports social entrepreneurship, which fosters creativity and long-term solutions to urgent problems in society. The group aims to provide equal opportunities to people all over India and promotes equality. The deadline for the application for the Hand In Hand India’s Siksha Mitra Scholarship Scheme is 31st May 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

• To be eligible for the scholarship, general category candidates must have an overall score of 60%, while SC / ST applicants must have a minimum score of 40% in their qualifying examination.
• The scholarship is open to female students only.
• Applicants must belong to the states of Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh.
• The Family income of the applicant must be less than Rs 5 lakh.
• Students must be in class 8 to 12, or pursuing Diploma, ITI, Graduate, Post Graduate, Ph.D., M.Tech., BE/B.Tech, specialized courses like B.Sc Agriculture, B.D.S., B.Sc.Nursing courses.
• Applicants must have a bank account in their name to receive the scholarship amount.

Steps to Apply for Hand In Hand India’s Siksha Mitra Scholarship

Follow the step-by-step below to apply for Hand In Hand India Scholarship.

• First of all, go to the Vidyasarthi Scholarship Portal otherwise access the direct link given below.
• On the homepage, select “Apply for Scholarship.”
• Login by entering your email and password, else enter your name, mobile number and email to register.
• Select the Update Profile option and provide the student’s personal details, parent / guardian details, communication details and bank details.
• Provide current academic details and education details and then save.
• Then click on “Search and Apply Scheme” and select Scholarship.
• Fill the application form and Attach necessary documents.
• Finally, click on submit and keep the application form printed
