Madhya Pradesh Tribal Affairs Automation System (MPTAAS), Scholarship introduced by Madhya Pradesh State government for scheduled caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students. Scholarships help in removing financial barrier and supports to study more. The scholarship prevents you from working part-time while studying and gives you time to study. MP Government has released this scholarship knowing the situation of the SC and ST students and with the good intention of providing them with a better education. Eligibility Criteria for MPTAAS Scholarship 2023-24
- Student must be a citizen of Madhya Pradesh state are eligible for MPTAAS Scholarship.
- Student must be studying in a school/college from a recognized University/Board in Madhya Pradesh State only.
- Student should be from SC/ ST/OBC in any one of these divisions or categories.
- For SC/ST students, the annual family income should not exceed Rupees 5 lakhs.
- The annual family income of the OBC student should not exceed Rupees 3 lakh.
- SC/ST students whose family income is between Rupees 5 to 6 lakhs would be presented 50% of the scholarship amount.
- Government employees son/daughter are not allowed to apply.
How to apply for MPTAAS Scholarship 2023-24?
In earlier days, registration or online application was accepted from MP 2.0 portal. But now, the new website has been introduced for registration. Student applies for this scholarship must create new account in “hitgrahi profile panjikaran” then only can proceed with login for rest of the application. Steps given below to create MPTAAS hitgrahi profile panjikaran:
MPTAAS Scholarship New Beneficiary Profile Registration 2023
- Step 1: Visit www.tribal.mp.gov.in.
- Step 2: Click on “Beneficiary Profile Registration” from “Important Link” page.
- Step 3: Enter your Name, Date of Birth, Father’s name and gender as per Aadhaar.
- Step 4: Enter the fields as per permanent address. (House no, place, pin-code, city, etc.)
- Step 5: fill other information like, Mobile number, E-mail address, marital status (if married, enter husband/wife name).
- Step 6: Enter caste certificate number, from date, religion and enter the information regarding whether you are disabled.
- Step 7: Select save and Proceed button.
- Step 8: Now, enter Samagra ID and click on “Next”.
- Step 9: Enter father’s occupation and income details.
- Step 10: Fill the details regarding permanent resident and click on save.
- Step 11: Review the application, set new password and click on Submit.
- Step 12: Keep the login details carefully.

MPTAAS Portal Login and Apply for Scholarship
Student must register in “hitgrahi profile panjikaran” before going to login. After registration in hitgrahi profile student get login credentials and that will be to login and proceed with application. To login, applicant can use username and password given to them during hitgrahi profile registration. The procedures to login mptaas छात्रवृत्ति 2023-24 portal are:
- Step 1: Visit MPTASS PMS Scholarship portal https://tribal.mp.gov.in/MPTAAS.
- Step 2: Click on “Log in” link. (Bottom right of the portal).
- Step 3: Enter username, password, captcha and press log in button.
- Step 4: Select PMS from dashboard.
- Step 5: Select “apply application”.
- Step 6: enter required details such as Type of application, admission year, course year etc., and click on “Go for Apply”.
- Step 7: Fill the details like, University State, District, Institution Name, Date of Joining, and Admission Number and click on “Get Admission Details”.
- Step 8: Enter income certificate number, certificate issue date and click on “Save and Next”.
- Step 9: Review the application form thoroughly and click on “Submit”. (If any correction has to be made or any information has to be inserted fill it before submitting the application).
- Step 10: Select “Application Details” from PMS menu in dashboard.
- Step 11: Take printout of application for future reference.
How to Recover Password?

- Enter Username, captcha and submit.

Steps to Check MPTAAS Scholarship Payment Status
An applicant can check status of new or renewal application from official website [email protected]. Below are the steps to be followed to check payment status of application.

- Step 2: Login with User Id and Password.
- Step 3: Select PMS from Dashboard.
- Step 4: Next click on “Application Status”.
- Step 5: View the details regarding status.
Update KYC of MPTAAS Scholarship
Student can update KYC (Know Your Customer) details after successfully uploading an application form through online portal. An Applicant of MPTAAS scholarship can login to website and update KYC for them. To update KYC an applicant can follow below instructions.
- Visit Visit the MPTAAS porta or go to [email protected].
- Log In with user id and password.
- Enter Aadhaar number or Virtual Id number.
- Here, two options provided.
- Update EKYC by generating OTP,
- Use Biometrics to update EKYC.
- If OTP method selected, then enter OTP sent to registered mobile number linked to Aadhaar and click on Submit.
- If Biometric selected, give thumb for update.
