Orunodoi 2.0 Scheme is a well-known scheme introduced by the Assam State Government. Under the Orunodoi scheme, each beneficiary used to receive Rs 830 per month which was disbursed to their bank accounts through DBT on the first day of every month. However, as part of the Orunodoi 2.0 initiative, the sum has been increased, and each beneficiary now receives Rs 1000 each month.

Eligibility for Assam Orunodoi 2.0 Scheme
Like others, you may also be an interested applicant who wants to apply for the Orunodoi 2.0 scheme. However, the Government of Assam has set a list of eligibility criteria that you must meet. We shall now show you who is eligible for this scheme.
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam or presently residing in Assam.
- Applicant’s age should be between 16-59 years.
- Only women are eligible for this scheme.
- Women who are widowed, unmarried, or members of the Divyang are eligible.
- The annual income of the family should be less than Rs 2 lakh.
- Applicants who do not have a ration card but are members of the National Food Security Scheme (NFSS).
- Those who are entitled to the benefits of the Indira Miri Universal Widow Pension (IMUWPS) and Deen Dayal Divyangjan Pension Scheme (DDDPS) do not need to apply for the Arunodoi 2.0 scheme.
Who are not eligible for Orunodoi Scheme
- Applicants whose families have 15 bighas of land.
- Applicants who are family members of Government Servants, former or present MPs/MLAs, Doctors, Engineers, Architects, Lawyers, Income Tax Prayers.
- Families who own four-wheelers, refrigerators, and tractors are not eligible for this scheme.
