NTA has started the online registration for the PM YASASVI Scholarship Scheme 2023. Prime Minister Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for a Vibrant India otherwise known as PM YASASVI is a scholarship award scheme designed for students belonging to OBC / EBC / DNT categories. Only students studying in classes 9th and 11th can apply for this scholarship. Those who apply for the YASASVI scholarship and get selected in the entrance exam will get Rs.75000 and Rs.125000 annually. The online application for YASASVI Scholarship has started on 11.7.2023, and the last date of application is 17th August 2023. YASASVI ENTRANCE TEST 2023 will be conducted by NTA on 29th September 2023. Applicants can apply online through the official site of www.yet.nta.ac.in.
PM YASASVI Scholarship Scheme 2023
PM YASASVI, a Scholarship Award Program for Young Achievers launched by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. Under the scholarship award program, PM YASASVI Entrance Test (YET) 2023 will be conducted by NTA. Recently, NTA has issued an official notification regarding the PM YASASVI Scholarship. According to this notification, the students of the OBC / EBC / DNT / SNT category who have passed class 8th / 10th and have been admitted to class 9th / 11th are eligible to apply. Interested applicants are required to participate in the YASASVI entrance exam after successfully registering and submitting their application. Those who are selected in this YET exam will get a scholarship of Rs 75000 and Rs 125000 per year. All eligible and interested students are therefore invited for application at yet.nta.ac.in. Last date for registration is 10 August 2023. However, recently the last date for online application has been extended till 17.8.2023.

Eligibility Criteria for PM YASASVI Scheme
Although students from all over India have been invited to the PM YASASVI Scholarship Scheme 2023, however, there are several eligibility criteria that everyone must meet. These are as follows:
- Applicant must be a citizen of India.
- Applicant must be currently studying in class 9 or 11.
- The candidate should be a student of the OBC/EBC/DNT category.
- Candidates who will appear in Class IX YASASVI Entrance Test must have been born between 1.4.2007 to 31.3.2011.
- Those who have applied for Class XI should be born between 1.4.2005 to 31.3.2011.
- The annual income of the student’s parents/guardians from all sources should be less than Rs. 2.5 lakh.

You will need to follow these steps to complete your online registration:

After successful registration, candidates will be sent an application id to their registered mobile number through which they have to login. How you login and fill the application form is as follows:

- Login
Go to the login page of the NTA YASASVI portal, the link is www.yet.nta.ac.in. Enter the application number/password and then click on the login button.
- Select application form
When the dashboard opens, select the “Complete Application Form” option.
- Personal details
Enter your personal details, Father’s/Mother’s Name, Nationality, Aadhaar Number. Domicile State, Category, etc., then click on Submit and Next.
- Enter address
Enter the current address, such as State, District, Pin Code, Street, etc., and click on Submit and Next.
- Exam details
Enter the exam details like Medium for Exam, Exam State/City/District, then Save and Continue.
- Education details
Enter Education Details like 9th/11th Class Name, State/District/City of School, Marks obtained, Medium of Study, etc., then Save and Next.
- Fill other details
Enter your details like the Education Background of your Parent, Occupation, Family Income, Number of Siblings, etc., and Click on Save and Continue.
- Upload documents
Now upload the documents, such as Income, Category Certificate, Aadhaar Number/Enrollment ID, etc., and click on Save.
- Submit application
Preview the application form, verify all the information, and then click on the final submission.
PM YASASVI Scholarship Amount
Students who clear the YASASVI YET entrance exam will be selected for the scholarship and will receive scholarships under the Prime Minister Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme (PM YASASVI), which will cover tuition and hostel fees. The amount are as follows:

PM YASASVI 2023 Age Limit
There is no specific age limit for applicants for this scholarship scheme, however, the age criteria as per your official notification are as follows:
- In the case of students studying in Class IX, their date of birth should be between 01.04.2005 to 31.03.2023.
- In the case of Class XI pursuing students, their date of birth year should be between 01.04.2005 to 31.03.203.

YASASVI YET 2023 exam will be in paper and pen mode (OMR sheet based). The questions in the examination will be objective-type multiple choice.
