The online application for the Rajasthan SJE Scholarship 2024 is made available to students by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department of the Government of Rajasthan. The application has started from the month of January 2024. Students may visit the Rajasthan SJE Scholarship Portal to complete the application online. For the socioeconomic welfare and development of members of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Backward Classes (EBC), Special Backward Classes (SBC), specially-abled individuals, senior citizens, and women, the Social Justice and Empowerment Department (SJE) of the Government of Rajasthan regulates a number of scholarship programs. The students will be chosen if they fulfill the eligibility criteria.
Rajasthan SJE Scholarship 2024
SJE Scholarship 2024 is a state sponsored scheme launched by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Rajasthan, which aims to provide financial assistance to students belonging to backward sections of the society such as SC / ST / OBC / EBC / SBC / DNT categories. There are 4 types of scholarships offered on the SJE Scholarship Portal run by the Government of Rajasthan which are as follows: Post-Matric Scholarship for SC / ST / OBC Students, Post-Matric Scholarship for EBC Students, Post-Matric Scholarship for SBC Students and Ambedkar Fellowship Scheme for SC Students. These scholarship is open to students from class 11 to higher education.

List of SJE Scholarship and Eligibility Criteria
SJE scholarship is for students belonging to backward sections of the society like SC, ST, OBC, EBC and SBC categories. So the eligibility criteria generally depends on the candidates as to which category they belong to. The eligibility criteria are as follows:
SJE Post-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC Students
- The applicant must live in Rajasthan permanently.
- The candidate must be a member of the OBC, SC, or ST communities.
- The applicant must be in 11th and 12th grade classes.
- Applicants needs to belong to the SC/ST/SBC category should have a family income of no more than Rs. 2.5 lakh per year, Rs. 1 lakh for OBC applicants, and Rs. 5 lakh for students enrolled in governmental institutions.
SJE Post Matric Scholarship for EBC Students
- The applicant must be an EBC General category.
- Candidates must be in 11th grade and the scholarship will be granted till their post-graduation.
- Candidates from the EBC community their annual household income should not be more than Rs. 1 lakh.
Post Matric Scholarship for SBC Students
- The applicant has to be a member of the SBC Community.
- Candidates pursuing class 11 will be given scholarship and it will be covered till post-graduation level.
- Students enrolled in distance learning courses may also submit an application.
- The family income of candidates belonging to the SBC group should not be more than Rs 1.08 lakh per annum.
SJE Ambedkar Fellowship Scheme for SC Students
- The candidate must get at least 55% of the possible points in their post-graduation program from an accredited institution in India.
- The candidate’s age should not exceed 35 years old.
- The candidate must enroll in the PhD programs of Social Science, Public Administration, Law, Economics, Political Science, and Anthropology in a foreign institute or university.
- Candidates from the SC/ST group shall not earn more than Rs. 2.5 lakh annually for their family.
SJE Scholarship 2024: Online Registration
- Step 1: The official website may be accessed at sje.rajasthan.gov.in.
- Step 2: Under Apply Online/E-Services, select “Scholarship Portal.”
- Step 3: To register, click on “SIGN-UP/ REGISTER” option.
- Step 4: After that, the Rajasthan Single Sign-On page will be displayed to you. Select the tab labeled “Citizen.”
- Step 5: To begin the registration process, choose any choice from Bhamashah, Aadhaar, Facebook, Google+, or Twitter.
- Step 6: Keep on “Registering” by selecting the appropriate option.
- Step 7: Register and create your SSOID and password.
Steps to Apply for Online SJE Scholarship 2024

After logging in, you have to update your profile by adding all the required details.

As soon as you make changes to your data, you will be sent to a user dashboard that offers you a number of digital possibilities.
- Step 3
To submit the scholarship application, choose the “Scholarships” option.
- Step 4
A window posing the question, “How would you like to register yourself?” will pop up. To continue with the scholarship application, click “Student.”
- Step 5
Select your Name and enter your Aadhar Number, click on “OK”.
- Step 6
Enter Basic information then Validate Mobile Number and Email ID.
- Step 7
Enter E-Bank details such as Branch name, bank name, IFSC code, A/c no.
- Step 8
Provide details like Domicile Certificate Token No., Caste Crtificate Token No., Year of Passing (10th exam), Click on “Next”.

Click on “New Application” then Select Scehme Name.
- Step 10
Enter Institute/ School informations such as Acacdemic year, University Name, Class/course, Board, etc and Fee datils.
- Step 11
Lastly, submit the application form.
How to Login?
- Applicants must first go to the SJE Portal’s official website.
- Your screen will load the homepage; you must select the Login option there.
- Your screen will open the Login page. Here, you must provide your Digital username, password.
- After that, click login button
How to Check SJE Scholarship Application Status?
- First of all, visit to https://sje.rajasthan.gov.in.
- Select “SJMS Application Status” option.
- Choose Scheme Name, Financial Year; Then enter Application Number.
- Enter Captcha displays, and click on “Get Status” button.
- On the following page, you can check your application and scholarship status.
