CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2023 Application Form
For the academic year 2023-24, the Central Board of Secondary Education has invited online applications for the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship. Students who have cleared Class 10 in 2023 session and are now enrolled in Class 11 at CBSE-affiliated schools can fill out the new application form. Applicants who have previously applied for CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship X for the academic year 2022 are required to renew their application for availing the scholarship. Applicants must visit the official website (cbse.gov.in) to submit new / renewal applications.
How to Apply for CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship Online?
Steps to follow:

First, go to www.CBSE.gov.in website, then click on Main website, then select Single Girl Child Scholarship X 2023.
- Step 2
Then choose the Guidelines and Application Form for Scholarship and then click on the Apply Online button.
- Step 3
Now select the SGC-X Fresh application to make a Fresh application, otherwise click on the SGC-X Renewal option.
- Step 4
Enter your Roll number, and Date of birth, then click on the Proceed button.
- Step 5
When the application form opens, several details will be filled in advance and you will have to fill in some additional information.

Enter address and contact details i.e. Correspondence address, State, District, PIN code, Telephone/Mobile number, Email id, Applicant’s Aadhaar number, etc.

Eligibility for CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2023-24
- Open to girls students who are the only child in their family.
- The tuition fee of the applicant should be less than Rs 1500 per month in class 10 and 10% enhancement for class 11/12.
- Must have passed Class 10 with a minimum of 60% or higher from CBSE-accredited schools.
- Currently studying in 11th/12th standard in a school which also must be affiliated with CBSE.
- Those who are presently enrolled in Class 12 will have to renew their scholarship, but they must achieve a minimum of 50% marks in Class 11.
- Applicant must be a citizen of India.

Amount and value of Scholarship
CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship is awarded to the students for a duration of 2 years. Those who have passed 10th standard and were accepted into Class 11 receive 6000 rupees over the course of a year, or 500 rupees per month. Those who finished the 11th grade with 50% marks and got admission to the 12th grade will receive 6000 rupees yearly by simply renewing their application.
Selection Process for Single Girl Child Scholarship Class X
CBSE Single Girl Child scholarship is a merit scholarship, which implies that students are chosen based on their academic performance. Students who scored 60% or higher in their 10th grade are eligible to apply for this grant. Following the submission of the application, the student’s application and documents will be validated. After that a merit list will be prepared, and the scholarship will be given out in accordance with it.
